Recently, undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather made a comment about the UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. When a member of the media suggested Rousey as a potential future opponent for Mayweather he seemed oblivious to her existence, furthermore adding insult to injury Mayweather referred to Rousey as a “he”.

“I don’t know who he is,” said Mayweather.

Although Mayweather’s comments may seem disrespectful and shocking to some, it does not see to surprise UFC President Dana White.

“What’s Floyd going to say? That’s a lose-lose situation for Floyd,” White said. “For him to even acknowledge that he knows who Ronda is, and that she could possibly beat him in a fight, ya know, that’s what I’d expect him to say.” White told UFC.com.
